Crohn's & Colitis UK Medical Educational Evening
An education evening for people with IBD and their families, run
by Crohn's and Colitis UK Avon and North Somerset Group and hosted
by University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust (UH Bristol),
will take place on Wednesday evening, 12 October.
Consultant gastroenterologist at UH Bristol (BRI), Dr Tom Creed,
along with Aileen Fraser (Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Nurse
Specialist at the BRI) will provide a detailed insight into
Inflammatory Bowel Disease and talk about the causes, impact and
how to cope with fatigue related to IBD. In addition Crohn's &
Colitis UK will provide an overview of IBD research currently being
funded. There will be time for questions to all presenters and the
evening will close with an overview of Crohn's and Colitis UK
support services and events happening locally.
