14 October 2015

Come to our Healthy City Week event in the BHI on 14 October

Healthy City Week

Sample fairtrade cake, herbal teas and find out about sustainable healthy travel at our event on 14 October. Alongside other organisations, we will be sharing information on what we are all doing to reduce our environmental impact, and raise awareness about the links between our environment, sustainability, health and wellbeing.

Staff and the public are welcome to attend the event to find out about UH Bristol's Big Green Scheme and the work of other local organisations including Neal's Yard, Warm up Bristol, Travel West and Natracare. This is just one of the events you can get involved in during Healthy City week. See the full timetable here.

Healthy City Week Bristol is a brand new initiative delivered by Bristol Green Capital Partnership CIC and Love The Future CIC, formed in collaboration with organizations - including UH Bristol - across the city. The week takes place from 10 to 18 October 2015 and aims to inspire citizens of Bristol to achieve healthier lifestyles as part of a more sustainable future city. Events will be taking place all across the city; with over 100 talks, workshops, activities and exhibitions over nine days.
