Research and clinical trials
Welcome to the web pages for the
Clinical Trials Unit at the Bristol Haematology and Oncology
Centre.
You may be looking for more information about entering into
clinical trials because you, a friend or family member has been
asked to participate in a clinical trial, or you may wish to find
out which clinical trials we are currently recruiting to.
If you would like to know more about clinical trials:
The UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) has
published a leaflet which contains information about medical
research studies:
- Understanding Clinical Trials
http://www.ukcrc.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/iCT_Booklet.pdf is
intended to provide more detailed information about how clinical
trials are designed and carried out, and to answer questions for
those considering taking part.
