University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust will be
opening the doors to its rheumatology department on Tuesday 5 May
between 1.45pm and 4.00pm.
The open day will give members of the public an opportunity to
find out about the Trusts rheumatology services, talk with health
care professionals, meet other rheumatology patients and find out
about local and national support organisations.
Enid Quest, Chair of the Rheumatology Patient Advisory Group for
the Trust, says: There will be displays, posters and some short
presentations as well as the opportunity to talk with members of
the rheumatology team and patient advisory group. In addition
representatives from local and national arthritis support
organisations will be attending the event.
Alex Lovell, presenter of BBC TVs Points West and BBC Radio
Bristol Saturday show, will officially open the event.
The event will be held at The Courtyard, Lower Maudlin Street,
opposite the Dental Hospital.
