Trust Declares Compliance Against All Healthcare Standards

The Trust has made its annual declaration of compliance with the Healthcare Standards.

The Trust Board met on 1 April 2008 and agreed a declaration of 'Compliant' against all of the Standards.

This is the third year of working with the Healthcare Standards, which together are sometimes described as a 'licence to practice' within the NHS.

The Standards cover a diverse range of topics, including patient safety, hospital food, staff training, infection control, governance, and the care environment.
