Heart Bristol Appeal 7 Point Cycle Challenge

Members of the University Hospitals Bristol Cardiac Team are limbering up for a two hundred plus mile bike ride across the South West. Consultant Cardiologist, Dr Julian Strange and the team are celebrating the opening of the Bristol Heart Institute (BHI) and helping to raise the final £75,000 of the £800,000 Heart of Bristol Appeal.

On 6th June, the nine-strong team will set off at Yeovil and following a route through Taunton, Weston, Swindon, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Bath. The aim is to visit all of the regional referral centres and finish on Sunday 7th at the BHI. The last leg will take them from Bath to Bristol along the cycle path and they are hoping others will feel inspired to join them on the thirteen mile journey.
