COVID-19 Outpatient hospital appointments not including maternity

Outpatient hospital appointments (excluding maternity)
Hospital appointments are running as normal. Please don't call
to check that a booked appointment is going ahead. If anything
changes with your care, we will be in touch.
Individuals attending hospital for an appointment can be
accompanied by one other person.
- Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your
appointment.
- Please leave the building promptly after your appointment.
Before your visit
If you have any of the following symptoms that may relate to
COVID-19, flu or respiratory infections, please contact the
relevant hospital department before your arrival.
Symptoms of COVID-19, flu and common respiratory infections
include:
- Continuous cough
- High temperature, fever or chills
- Loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell
- Shortness of breath
- Unexplained tiredness, lack of energy
- Muscle aches or pains that are not due to exercise
- Not wanting to eat or not feeling hungry
- Headache that is unusual or longer lasting than normal
- Sore throat, stuffy or runny nose
- Diarrhoea, feeling sick or being sick
Guidance on face masks
During your visit
You will be required to wear a surgical face mask (unless
exempt) in clinical areas of our hospitals. These areas will be
clearly signposted and surgical masks will be available at the
department entrance.
If you wish to wear a face mask in all areas of our hospitals,
please do so.
If you are in any doubt or need to make additional arrangements
to support your particular needs please speak to a member of
staff.
