As of 1st April 2017, University Hospitals Bristol will be delivering the Unity Sexual Health service in partnership with Brook Young People, Marie Stopes International, North Bristol NHS Trust, Terrence Higgins Trust /The Eddystone Trust, Weston Area Health NHS Trust and British Pregnancy Advisory Service (from 1st June 2017).

Unity is a comprehensive and integrated sexual health service for people living in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

The service will focus on three priorities:

  • Reducing late diagnosis of HIV
  • Improved identification of people with chlamydia
  • Reducing unwanted pregnancies

The Bristol Sexual Health Service will continue to be based at the Central Health Clinic in Bristol but will be known as 'Unity Central'.

We will continue to provide complex contraception, sexually transmitted infection (STI) care and a pregnancy advisory service.

Some Unity services, such as a new interactive website, will not commence until June 2017.
